Number of TEFL/TESOL positions available:
Start date, hours per week and length of contract/duties:
October 2nd 2015 but can start later if coming from overseas (last week in October) or February 2nd 2016.
This position requires availability to teach weekday mornings and afternoons, and full time availability on campus for administrative work. Review of applications will begin immediately and continue until the position is filled.
Volunteer? Should applicants raise funds?
Yes. However, a stipend of $500 is offered to the candidate each month with an additional $100 towards housing expenses so $600 is paid monthly.
Current students per class:
Less than 20 in the English as a Second Language Teaching Program
Less than 40 in English level 1 and less than 40 in English level 2
Qualifications and Requirements:
- For the department coordinator position, native or near-native fluency in English is a requirement. Masters or Ph.D. in English or related field, and experience teaching English language learners is required. Program administration in a college setting is a plus.
- For the teaching English as a second language position, native or near-native fluency in English is a requirement and a degree is required or 120 - 250 hour accredited TEFL
