Would you like to:
- Meet other Christians involved in English teaching?
- Learn or improve in key areas, like teaching beginners?
- Practice some teaching, under the guidance of an expert trainer?
If the answer is yes, then our Zoom training courses could be for you – whether you are a new or experienced teacher. We’ve got a range of these short, live Zoom programmes, called our Spotlight Live TESOL series. Our most popular course so far has been the Spotlight Live TESOL course for Zoom Basics, but we have a variety of other programmes, including:
Teaching English to Beginners
Creating Engagement and Warmer Activities
Teaching Mixed Ability Classes
Remember, these are not webinars, but instead they are practical, interactive opportunities to engage with each other, try out different approaches and learn from best practice in the field. It’s a great change to improve your skills.
Each individual TESOL Spotlight will give you the opportunity to learn with up to seven other trainees online. You’ll prepare with some short, online pre-session modules on our sister site at Global English TESOL before participating in an interactive Zoom session, led by an experienced tutor. Upon completion, you’ll receive a set of handy resources and a course certificate. All for just £20.

We’ve already enjoyed Spotlight courses with early-bird registrants. The feedback has been amazing – we think the picture at the top says it all. Here’s what people are saying:
“I thought the course was excellent! I loved getting feedback on my lesson and watching how someone else conducts their lesson…it makes the school seem so much more personal. I teach beginners and this class gave me tips that I have already been able to incorporate into my lessons.
Wendy Dempsey (Teaching Beginners Spotlight)
“I’ve usually avoided doing warmers…but I now feel that I have more confidence to try and hope to do so in my next lesson!”
TM (Engagement Activities Spotlight)
“I was able to use one of the warmers from the course in the session that Anna and I did today with the Syrian ladies. I would just like to say thank you … for this series.”
Sue Coleman (Engagement Activities Spotlight)
See Louisa introducing a warmer activity below, just to give you a taste of what you could be doing in the Zoom session. Then book today, as spaces are limited. Choose your ideal Spotlight session and book your place here.
Looking forward to meeting you on Zoom!
This (the Zoom Basics) was a helpful course.
The modules which needed to be completed before the online session with tutors really helped me find my way round the main features of Zoom and understand better how it works and its potential. They set me up well for the session with the tutors where the short presentation I had prepared was used and discussed.
This session was informal and very friendly and gave opportunity to ask questions.
I felt more at ease using Zoom afterwards.
