This means you get to do your English teaching practice one-to-one, online with your own personal tutor.

The Personalised Teaching Practice for TEFL/ESOL (or PTP) course is:

• convenient: choose a Zoom time to suit you and your tutor
• customised, with feedback personalised to you
• designed to help you learn and grow in teaching confidence: it’s just you and a teaching expert

The experience will be like having your own TEFL/ESOL support coach. This will optimise your time online and develop essential teaching skills fast. Through our sister organisation, Global English TESOL, we’re offering on-demand teaching practice one-to-one, a first for online TEFL course providers.

Here’s how the 10-hour PTP element works:
You’ll prepare for each teaching segment to make sure you get the most out of the session. Then you will deliver a range of five short lessons, live to your tutor on Zoom. These sessions will be divided over three hours, at a time to suit you and your tutor, split into five 30 or 40-minute lessons. Your tutor will provide feedback, helping you improve your performance. To finish, you’ll reflect and learn by reviewing recordings of your live TP sessions (approx. 3 hours.)

Our PTP course is open to all Christian TEFL and Global English TESOL trainees. You’ll just need to complete the relevant sections of your online course before you book the corresponding live teaching segment.

You can also take the PTP with us if you hold a TEFL certificate from another provider, as long as your course was 120 hours + and you have a skills-based and grammar lesson prepared and ready to teach over Zoom.

You’ll receive 10-hour teaching practice certificate upon successful completion.
