Christian TEFL Mission

Our charity's stated objectives are 'To advance the Christian religion, in particular through the provision of training courses to teach English as a foreign language, in order to communicate the Christian gospel in the UK and overseas.'

Our aim is to be the meeting point between volunteers who aim to serve Christ through mission, providing them with formal, accredited training to teach English, so that they can volunteer on short or long term placements at home or abroad. Then to point them towards organisations that are engaged in mission and help them get started in TEFL.

100% of our profit goes to Christian mission partners

Christian TEFL has partnered with a number of the leading Christian mission placement organisations. All our profit goes to these charities and trainees select which partner to bless when they sign up to take a course with us. But unlike some larger organisations, where money can go into high overheads or expensive administration, we run a low overhead business so more of your fees are used for sharing the gospel. Therefore, we seek to ensure that all our profit is maximised for the work of the kingdom. To find out more about where your fees go, check out the news pages on our site, where you can find details on all our mission partners.

If you are thinking about a Christian TEFL course or a standard TEFL, by choosing Christian TEFL you know that your course fees will go to help support the work of making Christ known around the world. We believe we are the only TEFL training organisation to share our income in this way.

Here's how we help

Every six months the trustees at Christian TEFL meet and aportion the share of profits according to where trainees have chosen to give them. Trainees can choose one partner, or request that their share of the profits are divided equally between all partners. Check out the list of our partners here and discover the wonderful work they are doing! We meet regularly with partners to ensure that the funds are used in accordance with their charity aims and objectives.
