The Classic 120-hour TEFL course from Christian TEFL is a great way to start your TEFL career, especially if you want to train in a friendly Christian environment. It offers a simple start into the world of English language teaching through accredited training with useful resources and ideas for your first classes.

This 120-hour online course is accredited to ACTDEC Level 3. Train at your at your pace and benefit from continuous assessment as you work through set tasks. Watch teaching videos to demonstrate the principles of teaching and learn about different levels, materials and how to plan lessons. You’ll receive consistent, supportive feedback from an experienced Christian TEFL tutor along the way. There are also opportunities for shared learning experiences in our online TESOL forum, as well as specific grammar and TESOL groups you can join in our Facebook community. Quality assurance is guaranteed by one of the UK’s most established TEFL accrediting bodies, ACTDEC and this course leads to the ACTDEC accredited Level 3 qualification.

What makes a Christian TEFL course different?

How this interactive course works

You take this course through the Global English TESOL website, and it is ideal if you’ve got a good broadband connection and can work entirely online via a tablet/PC/Mac. You’ll complete interactive exercises, create lesson plans and watch and respond to videos that bring the course to life.

Eligibility

We welcome candidates from all walks of life, and therefore our Christian TEFL courses are open to both native and non-native English speakers who are over 17 years old, with good written and spoken English. If you are a non-native English speaker, please ask us if you are not sure about your level of English, so that we can give you some guidance as to what we expect. We can also point you towards a test of English, meaning you can check your English level before you enrol. As a general guide, we would expect you to have an IELTS level of 6.5, which should enable you to complete the course successfully.

Duration

This course usually takes between 6-12 weeks to complete, but we go at your pace and allow up to 6 months for course completion for maximum flexibility. Some people have completed it within 14 days. Go at the speed you feel comfortable with. Everything you require to complete the course and receive your certificate is included in the single fee above. However, check out these optional extras:

• additional time course extensions available if you need to go beyond 180 days
• a Global English TESOL or Christian TEFL printed and embossed certificate posted to you (£20 UK / £25 outside)
