Would you like to be more confident on Zoom and learn how to optimise it for your online English classes? Then this interactive Zoom Basics course is for you.
You’ll learn how to set up and send meeting invites, how to screen share, annotate and guide your students to interact on a Whiteboard. You’ll also learn some super Zoom-friendly tasks you can use in your class.
You’ll warm up to this via our interactive, preparatory online modules so you will be ready for the 1 hour Zoom practical, live with your peers and led by expert online tutor Louisa Walsh.

Who is this course for?
Open to anyone over the age of 18 with a good level of English, it’s particularly suitable for Christians or church groups who are engaged in outreach to second language speakers online.
With much of the teaching world moving online, this is a great course to make sure your skills are up-to-date for today’s English teaching and learning environment.
As this is a course aimed at assisting Christians in English outreach, the Zoom course session will start with introductions and a short time of prayer.
What we cover
All the Zoom essentials from how to utilise chat to advanced screen sharing, when and how to use a whiteboard and lesson ideas for the Zoom classroom. It is highly practical and you will finish by leading your peers through an interactive Zoom task.
How is this course run?
This course runs through the Global English TESOL course platform. With no final exam, you are graded by continuous assessment through the pre-session modules and attendance on the Zoom session.
Do I get a certificate?
Yes, after successful completion along with PDF resources of the materials and
video presented online. We are also on hand for advice and feedback throughout your short course.
How this interactive Zoom course works
This course is ideal if you’ve got a good broadband connection so can work entirely online via a tablet/PC/Mac. You’ll complete interactive exercises, watch videos via YouTube before your live Zoom session with up to 7 other trainees, led by an expert trainer to help bring the subject to life.

This short course can easily be completed in a day, or over a few hours each evening. However, you have up to 60 days to complete it.
At only £20 per course, this is great value. However, course numbers are limited to six and it is advised to book early.
